Geneva based cable operator Naxoo has issued a number of its subscribers with a temporary HD cable receiver so they can watch the Euro 2008 coverage in HD.
Originally, these new HD viewers ordered the new Drivebox HD cable tuner with PVR, but since the manufacturer was late in delivering the boxes – originally scheduled for shipment in May – the operator has decided to loan them a regular HD tuner.
Naxoo has already distributed 1,500 HD boxes and says it will ship the Drivebox HD to all people who ordered them as soon as they become available.
