The German branch of Versatel says it has reached an agreement with the Deutsche Wohnen AG group to acquire AKF Telekabel TV und Datennetze GmbH (AKF) in Frankfurt am Main. AKF is a Level 4 cable operator with 76,000 homes
The purchase price is €30 million, including debts. The deal still has to be approved by the German cartel office. The networks are situated in the cities of Frankfurt am Main, Berlin, Gera, Mönchengladbach, Prenzlau, Rathenow, Rüsselsheim, Salzwedel, Leverkusen and Wuppertal.
