The Belgian Guillaume de Posch will quit his post as CEO and chairman of the board at ProSiebenSat.1, the company announced yesterday. In a press release, the broadcaster said De Posch will leave, at his own request, at the end of the year.
Andreas Bartl, CEO of the wholly owned subsidiary German Free-TV Holding GmbH, has been appointed to the Board with immediate effect.
The departure of De Posch comes at a time of disappointing financial results at the broadcaster. The company has just announced the sale of its CMore pay-TV operations in Scandinavia.
There are also conflicting reports about a possible sale of the Sat.1 channel to pay-TV operator Premiere.
