It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of George Iliescu, the deputy general director of Romania’s Pro TV.
Mr Iliescu began his TV career in 1980, and 10 years laid the foundations for MediaPro and Pro TV with Adrian Sarbu. He was most recently Pro TV’s deputy general manager, and had since 2006 also been technical consultant for CME stations in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania.
