The two principal industry regulators in Poland – the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) and National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) – are to commence work on a tender for what will be the country’s second DTT multiplex.
The tender will take place in the second half of this year and address such issues as the carriage of HD channels.
The two regulators have stated would like the first multiplex to carry the current main analogue channels in Poland, namely TVP1, TVP2, TVP Info, TVN, Polsat, TV4 and TV Puls.
