David Kaminitz is leaving his position as head of Israeli cable operator HOT Cable Systems after two years. The reasons for his departure are unclear.
Kaminitz’s period in charge was one of great change at the cable operator, following the consolidation of the three companies that previously comprised the Israeli cable industry He then embarked on a series of cost cutting measures that led to the reduction in carriage fees paid to certain channels and the dropping of some leading brands from the network. In return Kaminitz was able to boost the company’s profitability.
