Poland should include HD channels in its future DTT platform, according to its two industry regulators KRRiT and UKE.
Speaking at a conference on media and telecoms, representatives of the two bodies added that the platform should be launched even before the necessary legislation is in place.
A consultation with all the prospective stakeholders in Polish DTT is currently taking place and likely to be concluded by June 15. However, few expect a platform to make its debut before next year.
