The new Polish news-based channel Polsat News is set to make its debut this Saturday (June 7).
Distributed by Hot Bird 7A, it will be a commercial free, FTA service on air for 18 hours daily.
Polsat News will initially be offered by the DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat, though it is also likely to be in due course carried by the country’s leading cable networks.
Polsat has indicated that it plans to launch two further thematic channels by the end of this year.
