The Belgian French language public broadcaster RTBF has launched an HD version of the main channel La Une. During the summer months the channel will broadcast a number of major sports events in HD, including the Euro 2008 championships.
RTBF La Une HD will only be available on a number of selected networks in the country including Belgacom TV.
In a related development, MSO Telenet has announced that it has started to carry the new French HD channel TF1 HD on the network as part of its HD bouquet.
