The Russian DTH platform Tricolor TV has announced that it ended last month with 2 million registered viewers. However, the total number for its service stood at 2.5 million.
The service has also released details of its new programming structure, which will see the basic package remain free of charge and Optimum cost R600 (€16.3) a year to receive.
There will also be two further themed packages (Kinozal and Kaleidoscope) each costing R400 a year, plus an adult package (R500), along with a package (Bonus) aimed at mostly female viewers and available free of charge.
Tricolor TV is distributed by Eutelsat W4 at 36 degrees East and Bonum 1 at 56 degrees East.
