Corbina TV is to become the first company in Russia to use the Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV and multimedia software platform.
The move will be the result of a strategic partnership that has just been announced between VimpelCom and Microsoft to deliver such advanced services as VOD and DVR in Russia and the CIS through Corbina TV.
Corbina TV is to be delivered as part of a triple play package to Corbina Telecom subscribers through Motorola set-top boxes, with or without 160GB hard disks.
