Data produced by Hungary’s National Statistics Office (KSH) shows that 38% of households in the country now have an internet connection, with the overwhelming majority being broadband.
The highest concentration of internet homes (50%) is in central Hungary, which includes Budapest, and lowest (31%) in the north.
The data also shows that 51% of Hungarian homes now have a PC and 14% still lack a mobile phone.
