The incumbent Romanian telco Romtelecom has implemented a new IP Next Generation Network supplied by Cisco.
The move will help the OTE-backed company enhance its broadband internet services.
Although Romtelecom has yet to enter what is still a relatively small local IPTV market, it operates Dolce, a DTH platform with at least 500,000 subscribers.
