It allows DBS providers to send multiple video streams from individual or multiple satellites into the home over a single coax cable, significantly reducing the deployment costs.
Entropic’s solutions are based on the MOCA standard, which uses the existing Coax to create a robust IP-based network for easy sharing of HD video and other multimedia contents throughout the home.
