Belgacom has announced that its digital TV home total increased by 43,931 during the first quarter to 349,250. The growth in its TV and data business more than compensated for losses in voice business, according to the company.
Total income from Belgacom TV was €10 million, a growth of 120% thanks to an increase of 199,759 customers during the year to March 31, 2008. ARPU also rose from €13.40 to €17.40 on a monthly basis. After Telenet, Belgacom TV is the second largest provider of digital TV in the country.
