The Hungarian alternative carrier HTCC has posted revenues of $131.5 million (€84.8 million) for the first quarter, or an impressive 168% more than the total in the corresponding period last year.
Its income from internet services rose even more sharply, up from $1.1 million to $13.5 million.
HTCC saw its ADSL subscriber total increase by 12,000 to 124,000 in the year to March 31, 2008, mainly due to the addition of Invitel to its portfolio.
The company is expected to launch an IPTV service in the near future.
