Bulgaria’s leading cable operator CableTel says it will add a HDTV product to its triple play offer by the end of this month.
Local reports indicate the company expects that 10% of its subscribers will be receiving the product within the next 2-3 years. CableTel is backed by the UK’s Ramford Alliance Ltd and has interests outside in Bulgaria in Albania, Serbia and Macedonia.
Its close rival Eurocom Cable has countered by saying that it, too, will add HD channels to its offer sometime this month.
