National Geographic Channels International has given further details of the availability of National Geographic Channel HD in Austria and Switzerland. As reported in Broadband TV News over the past few days Nat Geo HD has been added to the UPC-owned networks in the German-speaking territories of Austria and Switzerland (Cablecom). The channel has also been added to the Naxoo network in the Swiss capital Geneva.

National Geographic Channel HD is available in the United States, UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Canada, Singapore, Japan, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Norway, Portugal and Denmark.
