The Dutch incumbent KPN will launch its DVB-H service before the summer and in time for the start of the Euro 2008 football championships, said board member Baptiest Coopmans to the local press.
The offer will include several live streaming services, including dedicated mobile channels. Earlier, the operator said it has signed an agreement with RTL to supply two channels including one made-for-mobile.
KPN will also launch a mobile TV version of DAG, the multimedia news service made in a joint venture with PCM newspaper publishers, which until now has included a website, free daily newspaper and a mobile version.
