RTL Group has officially announced that Dawn Airey, currently director of global content at ITV, has been appointed chairman and CEO of Five, effective as of May 1, 2009 at latest.
The news had already been made public by her current employer, who seems certain to hold her to her contract.
Mark White, Five’s executive director of sales, will serve as interim CEO of Five until Dawn Airey takes over.
