Racing UK and Setanta Sports are reviewing their options for the Racing World channel after announcing that it would no longer be broadcast on the Sky satellite platform.
Racing World broadcast live horse racing from the US six nights a week, but despite a developing a loyal following, interest in international racing was deemed insufficient to justify a dedicated channel.
Major US racing events will continue to be broadcast on Racing UK.
The channel number is unlikely to be sold and will remain with the Setanta group.
