The Fox and Paramount studios have joined the Disney studio in offering day & date releases in the Apple iTunes store for both rental and download, reports Variety. The two studios will offer selected movie titles in the iTunes store on the same day of the DVD release.
Fox added Juno to the store and Paramount recently offered Jackass 2.5 on iTunes a week before its DVD release. All major studios currently offer titles in the store in the traditional VOD window.
