The German pay-TV operator Premiere has said it will consider support for the new CI-Plus standard. At the moment the company only allows a special version of Common Interface that meets its security and parental control conditions.
A spokesperson for Premiere said contracts with Hollywood studios and regulatory requirements will be decisive factors in deciding if the company will support the new standard.
