Broadband subscribers in Poland can look forward to watching Euro 2008 over the internet as well as on TV.
According to a local report, the national broadcaster Polsat, which holds the rights to the tournament, has already signed an agreement with the alternative carrier Netia.
Furthermore, negotiations are on-going with the incumbent telco TPSA, which claims almost 2 million subscribers for its broadband service Neostrada. Netia expects up to 50,000 of its 260,000 customers to watch Euro 2008 online.
