The total number of fixed line broadband subscriptions in Hungary stood at 1.38 million in February, according to data published by the National Telecommunications Authority (NHH).
ADSL accounted for 759,000 of the total, or 0.6% more than a month earlier, while cable rose by 3% to 620,000.
The NHH added that the country’s four largest cable operators – UPC, T-Kábel, FiberNet and Digi – claimed just over 70% (440,000) of the cable total.
