Kabel Deutschland will carry all 16 local channels in the German state of Bavaria in digital. The channels should be digital by mid-2008.
Two local broadcasters, München TV and Donau TV, are already available in digital, and the others will follow in the coming months. They are Oberpfalz TV, TV Augsburg, Franken TV, TV Touring Würzburg, TV Touring Aschaffenburg, Regionalfernsehen Oberbayern, TV Touring Schweinfurt, Regionalfernsehen Landshut, INTV, TVA Ostbayern, Oberfranken TV, Allgäu TV and Tele-Regional Passau and München 2.
