Gemstar-TV Guide has added Humax to its European patent licensing programme for the so-called Interactive Programme Guide (IPG).
The IPG technology will be incorporated into the Humax range of set-top boxes distributed throughout Europe and also includes digital televisions and personal video recorders.
Earlier agreements have been signed with Panasonic, Philips, Sony and Pioneer.
