The Polish DTH platforms Cyfrowy Polsat and n have both begun trialling HBO HD. Existing subscribers to HBO will be able to watch the HD service free of charge for several weeks, after which they may be charged. At this stage it remain unclear when Cyfra+, Poland’s third DTH platform, will begin trialling and ultimately offering HBO HD.
