According to data produced by Hungary’s Central Statistics Office (KSH), there were 1.826m Internet subscriptions in the country at the end of 2007, or 37.4% more than 12 months earlier. The number using cable modems was up by 48.9% to nearly 558,000, while the ADSL total was 23.7% higher at 739,000. The 326 ISPs had a combined income of €112,6 million in 2007.
