RTL Group’s Croatian operation RTL Televizija has posted positive results for the first time. After eliminating losses in 2006, RTL recorded an EDITDA figure of €2 million last year. Year-on-year revenues meanwhile rose by 9%, from €44 million to €48 million. RTL claims it kept the highest share in the young viewers’ segment (18-49), with 28.3%. HRT1 was in first place with 25.9%, while Nova TV had 18.7%. Croatia’s TV advertising market grew by 4.8% in 2007, with Nova TV registering a 55.8% increase in ad revenue. RTL recorded a growth of 3.2%, while HRT registered a fall of 9.7%.
