The French media authority CSA has given the green light for a March 20 launch of seven new local broadcasters in the Ile-de-France, or greater Paris area. Three broadcasters – Côté Seine (Hersant Média), IDF 1 (JLA Group) and LTF (NRJ Group – will get their own channel, and another four – Demain IDF, BDM TV, Cinaps TV and Télé Bocal – will share a single channel. The authority has also opened up the application process for four further local stations in the cities of Bayonne, Lille, Dyon and Meaux.
