According to data produced by Mediaresearch, the percentage of Czech homes receiving digital TV services almost doubled from 7% to 12% in 2007. Of these, half (6%) were watching DTT channels. The Czech Republic introduced DTT s in late 2005 and began its transition to digital broadcasting in earnest last year, when the Domazlice region became the first in the country to switch off its analogue signals. ASO is expected in October 2010.
