National Geographic Channel Portugal is this month launching three channels into the Portuguese market. Nat Geo Music and the Nat Geo Wild made their debut March 1 on the Cabovisão cablenet and Meo IPTV platforms. National Geographic Channel HD will make its debut later this month on Meo.
“The growth of our Portugal channel is an immensely exciting time for us, as the channel will now offer an extensive line-up our key brands”, said Sydney Suissa, Executive Vice President of Content for National Geographic Channels International.
Nat Geo Music, which will feature Portuguese artists including Ana Moura, Buraka Som Sistema, and Pedro Abrunhosa alongside international stars, is already available in Italy and Latin America.
Nat Geo Wild is available in the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Italy, Turkey and most recently Denmark.
