Russia’s CTC Media has posted total operating revenues of $161,704,000 (€106,905,374) for Q4 2007, or 37% more than for the corresponding period in 2006. At the same time, its OIBDA rose by 46% to $92,752,000 and net income by 45% to $59,699,000. Its full-year figures were equally impressive, with total operating revenues of $472,056,000 (+27%), OIBDA of $220,422,000 (+27%) and met income of $135,913,000 (+28%). On the downside, CTC Network, though still the fourth most watched broadcaster in Russia, saw its average audience share fall from 10.4% in 2006 to 9.0% in 2007. That for the thematic channel Domashny, however, rose from 1.4% to 2.0% over the same period. CTC Media lists Sweden’s Modern Times Group (MTG) as its majority (40% shareholder).
