German cable operator PrimaCom said it enjoyed a fast take-up of digital TV services during the past 12 months bringing the total to about 14,000 homes. This represents growth of 300% during the period. The cabler has doubled the number of broadband homes to 50,000 and now has 40,000 telephony customers, a growth of 100% over the period. PrimaCom is owned by Orion Networks, who also owns the Telecolumbus, EWT and Bosch networks.
