A new satellite channel named Patio TV will make its debut in Poland this September. According to a local report, the service, which will be operated by a company named Fabryka Mediów (the ‘Media Factory’), will be a FTA service distributed Eutelsat’s Hot Bird and offer a wide range of educational programming. It will be funded by sponsorship and advertising and available over the Internet.
