The US investment company CME has posted the best ever results for its operations in Central and Eastern Europe. Its net revenues for 2007 amounted to $840 million (€558.6 million), or 39% more than the previous year, while operating income rose from $65.4 million to $206.0 million and net income from $63.3 million to $88.6 million. Segment EBITDA meanwhile rose 46% up year-on-year to $319.7 million. Although the Czech Republic, and in particular the flagship national station TV Nova, was again the star performer – full year revenues for the country were $279,237,000 – Romania came in a close second with $215,402,000.
