UPC Austria has revamped its digital TV offer including a PVR, video-on-demand, up to 140 digital channels and a price that matches traditional analogue cable. In a special introductory action, the cable company has waived the sign-up fee. UPC has set the price of the basic digital offer at the same level as the analogue Telekabel TV includes a UPC Mediabox. Digital TV Start costs €20.90 a month, Digital TV PLus €25.90. People wishing to upgrade to a PVR pay €4 a month if they subscribe to an extended digital tier, €5.90 if they just buy basic digital. VOD movies start at €3, adult entertainment costs €4.
Customers can also buy all Premiere premium bouquets available in Austria and can chose between two international packages, International 1 (Eurosport Polska, Eurosport Türkçe, HRT TV 1, BHT 1, RTS Sat, TV Polonia, POLSAT 2, Duna TV) and International 2 (Al Jazeera, France 24, 24 VESTI news, RAI Due, TVEi, RTR Planeta, EDTV1, CCTV4), also available is Digiturk Euro Kabel, Hustler TV, TV Pink and Hayat. Music+ offers MTV2, MTV Dance, MTVhits!, VH-1 Europe, VH-1 Classic and MCM Top.
