EQT, the Swedish investment fund, is looking to merge Kabel Baden-Wuerttemberg with Unity Media, according to Financial Times Deutschland. However, the company sees potential regulatory hurdles for the deal.
According to the newspaper, BC Partners, the current owner of Unity Media, is looking to withdraw from the company before the end of the year.
Kabel BW is being valued at approximately €3 billion.
