A news Polish regional channel named TVS will make its debut in the second half of this month. According to local reports, the service, which will be on air for 10 hours daily and aimed specifically at the Silesian region, will be distributed FTA by Eutelsat’s Hot Bird and carried by all three of the country’s DTH platforms. It will, in addition, be distributed by its two leading cable operators UPC and Vectra, though only in Silesia itself.
