Eight parties have shown interest in the local DTT franchises in the towns of Brest, Strasbourg, Saint-Etienne, Nice, Menton and Montluçon. Most applications are uncontested, but for southern France there are three interested parties and two for the city of Brest. According to media authority CSA, they are TL7 for Saint-Etienne, Télé Haute Bretagne and CanalOuest for Brest, Nice Télévision NTV for Nice, Télévision Sans Frontière and Cap Nice-Menton for a combined Nice-Menton, A.Télé for Strasbourg and Clermont 1ère for Montluçon.
