The leading Polish publishing company Agora has outlined a three-year strategic plan that envisages moving into the TV sector, either through thematic content production or investment in digital TV channels. According the company’s president Marek Sowa, it expects non-publishing activities to account for over 50% of the total within three years. Agora has already moved into the Internet sector, launching a number of sites including Tivi.pl, which is operated jointly with ATM Grupa, Poland’s leading independent production company, and offers mini series and videos of TV shows such as Big Brother.
