French cable operator Numericable has launched a new on demand service that will bring subscribers over 2,000 movies, sports, documentaries, concerts and sports events. Le Vidéo Club will be available to any subscriber that has the latest decoder CableBox or its HD equivalent.
Individual titles can be purchased from €0.99, recent movies will cost €3.99, and two episodes from popular series cost €2.99.
Content for Le Vidéo Club is being drawn from a number of well known sources. The list is headed by the Canal+ on demand service Cineplay and also includes Shorts TV, MTV, cultural channel Arte, manga animation through Kaze TV, Ma Chaîne Sport and music from I-Concerts.
