This Easter, the German public broadcaster will transmit about 75 hours of HD programming on its cultural digital channel Eins Festival. From March 21st till 24th, about 40 programmes will be aired via satellite. Programming of the HD showcase will start at 5pm CET on Good Friday and will include movies, kids programmes, concert recordings and an omnibus edition of the BBC documentary series ‘Planet Earth’. The HD schedule will run parallel to the regular SD broadcasts on a separate Astra transponder.
