The Russian alternative carrier Golden Telecom is in talks to buy the remaining 49% of Corbina Telecom it does not already own. Local reports say the company has filed a report with the US Securities and Exchange Commission confirming the move, which would see it buy a stake currently held by Inure Enterprises Ltd. Golden Telecom acquired a 51% stake in Corbina Telecom in June 2007 for around $162 million (€111 million). The latter launched an IPTV service last year and the two companies are working on a project to roll out FTTH triple play in 65 cities.
