Swedish commercial network TV4 is adding sci-fi to its suite of thematic channels. TV4 Science Fiction will beam down from February 29 and the broadcaster has already secured a two-year distribution agreement with the pay-TV platform Canal Digital.
TV4 Science Fiction will sit alongside the broadcaster’s other channels; TV4 Plus, TV4 Film, TV400, TV4 Fakta, TV4 Sport, TV4 Guld, TV4 Komedi and TV4 HD.
Notably NBC-Universal’s Sci-Fi Channel is not available in the Nordic market.
