Virgin Media has taken space in six stores operated by the mobile phone retailer Phones 4u. The six-month trial will run in stores in the north west of England that have been refurbished with Virgin Media branding taking up half the store. The Virgin logo will appear on the outer facia of the stores in Liverpool, Warrington, Birkenhead, Wigan, Southport and Bootle.
The stores will promote Virgin’s full product range including digital TV, video on demand, broadband, fixed line and mobile telephony.
Virgin has 13 dedicated stores and 91 concessions in Zavvi, the music retailer formed from the management buyout of Virgin Megastores.
