The French media authority CSA has extended the DVB-H trial for reception on the Paris metropolitan transport system RATP until April 15th. In Austria, the RTR regulatory body has ended the DVB-H trial from ORS and Mobikom Austria, the mobile business unit of Telekom Austria. The Paris trial has been going on since last October and intends to study the feasibility of mobile TV reception in metro stations and on trains. The current trial will be extended to the suburban RER lines A and B and will also include radio broadcasts.
In Austria, the trial has been going on for almost a year in the Vienna area and will end this Monday, February 4th. About 1,000 people took part.
