A dispute has broken out between the incumbent Croatian telco T-HT and city of Zagreb. According to a local report, T-HT has filed a suit against the city for acknowledging that only 30% of the 2,000km telecom pipe infrastructure belongs to the telco, as opposed to the 90% it claims. The action follows the city’s decision to sign access agreements to the infrastructure with 11 alternative providers. T-HT operates an IPTV service named MAXtv and faces competition from a growing number of companies, some of which, including Vodatel, have also entered the IPTV market.
