This Tuesday, Canal+ Spain launches its first HD broadcasts over the Digital+ platform. Initially, only a limited number of programmes will be available in HD, but the broadcaster hopes to increase the number of hours later this year. Canal+ Alta Definicion is available to all Canal+ premium subscribers who own the iPlus PVR, which the platform introduced last September. HD programming will include the regular mix of Canal+ programmes such as movies, documentaries and NBA basketball.
